One fabric that caught my eye was from a collection by the talented Charlotte at Rediscover By. (https://www.rediscoveredby.com) Charlotte’s designs are influenced by nature. They include hand-drawn plants, animals, and insects. The designs are then printed, using various techniques, onto Irish linen. The linen is produced in a small mill in Ireland, where flax grows in the surrounding fields. I particularly like the wildflower and sweet pea fabrics; they remind me of warm, hazy summers. I think they would look stunning as a sheer curtain. Rediscover By also takes commissions, I was fortunate enough to see one of the hand-embroidered cushions up close. It’s one to put on show—look at the detailing!
If you have a curtain or blind project in mind (or maybe some other soft furnishings project) but are overwhelmed by the amount of choice, then get in touch. I’d be more than happy to assist you.
I work in a couple of ways. One is that we have a meeting to discuss what you are looking for, and I then bring books to you or send you samples. The other service I can offer is a trip to the design centre to view and bring your scheme together. You would then be sent samples to try at home.
If you would like to discuss this further, then please get in touch with me via this form or call me on 07880 855819
